With more than fifteen years representing Taft-Hartley/multiemployer fringe benefit funds and labor unions, Cecilia enjoys providing counsel on a variety of matters, with a heavy concentration on issues involving ERISA, from fiduciary duties and obligations to plan document reviews and amendments; the Internal Revenue Code; the ACA, HIPAA; and COBRA.

Prior to joining Ledbetter Partners, Cecilia was an associate attorney for a Chicago-based law firm primarily representing multiemployer fringe benefit funds and labor unions in the prosecution and defense of federal and state law claims. In addition to her litigation experience, she regularly provided counsel to multiemployer funds with employee benefits compliance issues, assisted labor unions with grievances and unfair labor practice charges, and responded to a wide array of questions from both employers and employees concerning their obligations and rights under both federal and state employment laws.
