Sawyer earned his law degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. Prior to law school, Sawyer attended Indiana University-Bloomington, where he earned his B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in Business from the Kelley School of Business. Sawyer is licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana, as well as in the federal district courts for the Northern District of Indiana and the Southern District of Indiana.
