Rex Dunn

 

Rex has 40 years of experience in the areas of employee benefits, human resources, labor, immigration and risk management law. He has practiced in a prominent regional labor firm and has Fortune 500 Company experience in the areas of health and insurance law. Most recently he has focused his practice exclusively on the representation of Taft-Hartley multi-employer benefit plans.

Rex has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Nuclear Physics. He earned his law degree from the University of Louisville. Rex is a veteran, having served as an officer in the United States Army Combat Engineers.

Rex has been a frequent speaker on various topics including ERISA, labor and immigration law, legal risk management and e-commerce for numerous groups, including the American Bar Association. He also served as an editor of the Commerce Clearing House, Human Resources Reporter.

 

He has served as Chair of both the Louisville and Kentucky Bar Associations' Corporate Counsel Sections.  He has also been an advisor to the American Council of Life Insurers and was involved with the development of an industry market conduct code.
