Sarah Hicks

 

Sarah has more than 10 years of experience practicing law in the area of employee benefits. Prior to joining Ledbetter Partners, Sarah worked at two large regional law firms where she focused on both multiemployer fund representation and single employer plans.  In her current role, Sarah focuses on all aspects of health and welfare plan compliance including health care reform, HIPAA, COBRA and Medicare coordination.  In addition, Sarah works regularly with pension plan issues, SUB plans and provides general ERISA compliance advice for Taft-Hartley funds.

 

Sarah graduated from Miami University and earned a law degree from the University of Cincinnati College Of Law. She is also a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, Cincinnati Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. For the past seven years, Sarah has been named a Rising Star Attorney by the Ohio Lawyers’ Magazine.

 

Sarah has participated in numerous training programs on health care reform compliance through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, American Benefits Council and the American Bar Association.
